Welcome to my digital portfolio. I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley which shaped my point of view, and sparked my admiration for photographing vivid colors and unconventional spaces.
For six years, I photographed events for the student-run newspaper, The Logos, while attending University of the Incarnate Word (UIW). During a typical semester, I covered up to 15 on-campus events including football games, fundraisers, fashion shows and cultural events. This led to a position as the online web editor during the remainder of my UIW journey. I brought the publication to the digital realm by incorporating multimedia components that couldn’t be featured in the print edition.
I hold a bachelor’s and master’s degree, both in Communication Arts: Convergent Media. I am an accomplished photographer and videographer with experience using post-production editing tools including Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator and InDesign.
I’ve created digital assets for higher education and nonprofit organizations including UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures, H-E-B, UIW, Legacy Community Health, Venturelab, San Antonio Public Library, San Antonio College, Northwest Vista College, St. Philip’s College, and the Alamo Colleges District.
I work from the heart to create visually engaging content. Everyone has a story, let me tell yours though my lens.
